First create a cube and position it on the far corner of the ground plane grid. Stretch it along the Z axis until it just disappears off the screen at the left. Now stretch it along the Y axis to a position as shown at the left.

Duplicate your first, left hand, wall and rotate the duplicate through 90 degrees about the Y axis and move it along the X and Z axes to intersect with the first wall as shown to the left. This will be called the window wall. While this is still selected click on the A button for the attributes dialogue and select Positive.
Now create another cube and flatten it to about the same height as the walls are thick. Move it to the back corner of the room and stretch it along the Z and X axes until it extends past the end of the walls. Now raise it to intersect with the top of the walls. This is the ceiling of our room.

Now create another cubeand squash it along the Z axis so that it is just thicker than the wall thickness. Stretch it vertically along the Y axis so that it taller than it is wide. Click on the A attributes button and select Negative. Now move this cube (the window) into position in the Window wall. Make sure it projects past the wall both inside and out. Use the From right view to check this.
Select Directors view. With the window selected hold down the Shift key and add the Window wall to the selection and click on G to group the two.
Here I've rendered the scene to show you what your room should look like at this point.
